ABOUT

At the age of nine, my grandpa Neil proudly pulled a wooden bench home in a wagon after purchasing it for $2 at a neighbor’s sale, miles down the gravel roads of Forman, North Dakota. That was 1944. He cherished that bench until the age of 85, and it still sits on my grandparents’ back porch today.

In recent years, and especially since his passing, I’ve uncovered and learned much more about him than I knew growing up—despite spending decades just across the lake from him and my Grandma Elaine.

His love for sunrises and sunsets, jumping in the car for long drives and last-minute adventures, photography, celebrity and movie-star mood boards as a teenager, woodworking, and adopting furniture from friends and family to give it a new home—all of it unknowingly left a deep impression on me over time.

As a nod to the familial pull behind this project, and to the significance of vintage, pre-loved goods passed across generations, it feels only right to call it REUNION: a collection of furniture, art, and objects coming back together again as a unified whole after a period of separation.

A percentage of REUNION profits are donated to charitable organizations that empower the arts and social change.
